THE FORCE OF LOVE

Sitting at Waterstones today reading one of my favourite books, The Power by Rhonda Byrne I am learning how love is the most powerful force in the world, I have experienced this for myself on many occasions.
Love is all around us, sometimes ( or, rather, often) people complain that there is not enough love in this world but the truth is love is an energy and it can be found everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE. It is available to us at any given moment, it is a frequency: if you are aligned with love you can feel it even if you are in unappealing circumstances ie a crowded tube, a traffic jam and so on. LOVE HAS A FREQUENCY and you can decide at any moment to switch from a frequency of misery and negativity to one of gratitude and love. Gratitude is a fast channel to start tuning into the love frequency.
What Rhonda Byrne says in her book is that you can switch from negative to positive feelings easily, it is a choice: for example you've just had an argument with a friend and are full of resentment towards that friend of yours for the way they treated you. You have two choices: the first choice is to keep focusing on the pain you feel, the words said and every negative aspect of the argument you've just had; the second choice is to bring in and focus on positive feelings and outcomes around the argument: for example you stood up for yourself and spoke your truth with your friend ( that is honouring who you are), you might make a realisation about yourself:  that you need to learn to be more diplomatic or speak your own truth more, or that you have some old anger inside of you and THANKS to that argument you are now realising the deep seated pain and anger and you have the big opportunity to heal that part of yourself now. These are just few examples but you know what I mean: finding the positive in seemingly 'negative' situations will bring you to a frequency of 'being positive' and therefore of 'feeling love'.
I highly recommend you to read this book if you are a believer that everything around us is energy and if you don't believe that it will still make a good read and you might discover something new.
Everything is possible for the force of love, we are all made of it!

Much love to all,

MY INNER VOICE

Today I want to talk to you about my Inner Voice. For me our inner voice is an inner guidance, the voice of our higher self.It has always been a very important part of me. It has taken me through very difficult moments of my childhood and teenage years; it has protected me, offered me reassurance and guided me. When I was a child I thought it was the voice of God and so I listened carefully to what He had to say to me. I was a very sensitive and easily hurt child and I always found this voice very soothing. It became my best friend at a very young age.

When I was in my twenties I learnt to spend a lot of time by myself in silence in order to better hear the little voice speaking to me. It is a vital part of me, one that I truly cherish. It is the best guidance system I know.

Nowadays there are moments when I don't listen to my inner voice; that happens when I am afraid of change and am resisting stretching beyond my comfort zone; so I find myself ignoring the little voice inside of me that gently prompts me to take action.
If I keep ignoring that little voice that invites me to grow, sooner or later that same little voice comes back delivering me the same message!! There is no way out if you want to grow in this life! The comfort zone needs to be stretched in order to grow and become more confident.
Now it is that time again where I need to gather all my courage and stretch a bit more.
In deep gratitude to my Inner Voice that so well guides me and holds my hand through my life journey.

Namaste
