OUR INNER CHILD

Hello lovely people,

I would like to speak to you about our Inner Child, the child energy that is inside all of us and that we carry with us for life.

The first time I heard someone mentioning the Inner Child that is inside each of us a couple of years ago I was shocked and a bit sceptical; how was it possible that as adults we still carry an inner child? Then I came across one of Louise Hay’s books ‘The power is within you’; Louise Hay speaks a lot about the inner child, how to heal it and how to keep it healthy and happy. So I embarked on a journey to discover my inner child; I did this through reading Louise Hay’s books, doing some affirmations and some EFT, listening to songs for the Inner Child (Shayna Noll). In no time I got in touch with my inner child; it was painful at first as I realised how long I had been neglecting it but it was there ready to be comforted and re-assured and I have since promised myself that I would nurture it and look after it. Recently I have found myself being so busy that I went through a few weeks, maybe a couple of months without ‘remembering’ I have an inner child and the results were visible; I felt disconnected and unhappy. When I make sure that I give my inner child love and attention regularly I feel much happier and re-vitalised.

So go on and set aside some time to re-connect to your Inner Child again! It’s well worth it!

SPIRITUAL IDEALS

I have been through quite a personal journey recently, looking at my spiritual ideals, how to always put my higher ideals in front of me as guidance on my daily life. I have found this quite challenging due to my sensitivity to the energies surrounding me and finding a way to detach from those energies and recognise they don’t belong to me. I am grateful to be in such a journey of personal discovery and I know that I have the ability to create a life based on high spiritual ideals, I know I have the strength to achieve this and to be honest I am not afraid of challenges.

The Universe has sent me an amazing bunch of helpmeet which I am very grateful to have around during this spiritual journey; I hope that I will give them as much as they give me; I hope I will be an inspiration to them.

It is not always easy to be in touch with high ideals when you are going through a process of clearing negative beliefs you have been carrying with you for years; first the realisation of these beliefs is needed, then the shift has to happen from negative to positive ones. A bit of pain in between, trying to connect to the higher self, trying to allow painful emotions run through the body system without blocking them, with acceptance; an amazing journey, an amazing experience. Coming out the other side with a clearer view of oneself is always a joy, so much gratitude.
